Growing up in Bronte & getting the bug in the early 90's, progressive shortboard surfing was what I was exposed to most. Experimenting with boards pre thruster era has opened my eyes to certain  design elements that I now like to fuse into my shaping & the boards I like to ride. The combination of these influences keep me excited about riding & shaping different kinds of surfboards.

Hand shaping  offers me the freedom to combine variables that are necessary to create custom surfboards for all the different styles & approaches to surfing. From high performance to relaxed cruising.
